The Generalised Anxiety/Worry Group is for people who identify excessive worrying and anxiety as a problem for them. A degree of worrying about life is normal, but occasionally this can become too much and begin to have a negative impact on our quality of life.
This group is aimed at reducing these unhelpful patterns of thinking. It is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and involves exercises such as ‘worry awareness training’, ‘tolerating uncertainty’ & ‘mindfulness exercises’. The group runs for 8-10 weekly 1 1/2 hour sessions and is available at certain times/dates across both Camden & Islington.
