Camden Work and Wellbeing by Hillside Clubhouse in partnership with iCope
Employment specialists work within iCope Camden. Anyone receiving support at iCope is eligible for advice or support. You may be offered employment support by your therapist, or you can request it during your sessions.
Employment specialists aim to help people:
- who are unemployed to find work
- who are employed, but off work due to sickness or mental health needs
- who are experiencing harassment and/ or grievances in the work place
Our Employment specialists provide tailored, individual support to help the person to think about the type of work they want to do, how much they need to earn and what support they need to succeed in the job they get. They can help with writing CVs, application forms and to prepare for job interviews. Support is also provided to sustain work. The service also has a specialist job retention worker. The employment specialists are trained to listen carefully to people’s job preferences, and to carry out all phases of the employment journey.
This service is delivered by Hillside Clubhouse in partnership with Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.
The service is delivered from various settings, locations and teams across Camden.
