5. Alternatively, talk to your GP
You can ask your GP to make a referral for you.
After your referral we aim to get in touch with you within two weeks once we have reviewed the information to give you an update on the outcome of your referral.
Please note: iCope is unable to offer appointments to people who are currently abroad. If you are out of the country temporarily, please refer when you return to the UK.
Initial telephone assessment: is typically within 6-weeks of when you were referred. If you have used other mental health services it may be slightly longer so we can gather information and make sure we are the best service to help you.
If, following assessment, we feel iCOPE could be a helpful service for you there would be a further wait for treatment. This wait can vary depending on the treatment option you choose. It could take a few weeks to several months for you to receive treatment.
Please be mindful that most of our appointments are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
