Please note:
When we receive a referral, we will review the information we have at point of referral and consider if Camden and Islington Talking Therapies is the service best placed to help you. If we don’t think we are, we may liaise with other mental health services in the trust and make a decision on whether they are better placed to offer you a consultation. In these instances, we will inform you if we do this and you will have a choice if you wish to proceed. Below is the link is to the mental health trust services page:

Camden and Islington Talking Therapies is unable to offer appointments to people who are currently abroad. If you are out of the country temporarily, please refer when you return to the UK.
Waiting times
Initial telephone assessment: is typically within 6-weeks of when you were referred. If you have used other mental health services it may be slightly longer so we can gather information and make sure we are the best service to help you.
Treatment
If, following assessment, we feel Camden and Islington Talking Therapies could be a helpful service for you there would be a further wait for treatment. This wait can vary depending on the treatment option you choose. It could take a few weeks to several months for you to receive treatment.
Please be mindful that most of our appointments are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
