Would you like to join our iCope team?

At iCope we are often seeking enthusiastic, passionate and skilled individuals to join us in the valuable work we do across the boroughs of Camden, Islington and Kingston.

Why work with us?

  • iCope is a well-established, successful service and one of the first Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) sites in London.
  • We value motivated, diligent and talented individuals in our staff teams. We invest in helping those who work with us to achieve personal and career developments through special interests, training and research opportunities and service development projects.
  • We offer a high level of in-house training, continuing professional development (CPD) and regular supervision from experienced clinicians.
  • We endeavour to support our staff as individuals and as a team on professional and personal levels through supervision, reflective practice groups and team meetings. We recognise the factors that can influence work-related stress and burnout. We promote self-care and offer opportunities for staff to engage in a range of wellbeing initiatives including mindfulness and exercise sessions as well as offering additional support where needed.
  • The experience and perspective of our patients is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to co-production and partnerships between patients and professionals via service user involvement helping us to shape and develop our services. Some of our service users have taken on paid, peer wellbeing worker roles in iCope and are trained to be involved in recruitment panels.
  • We have strong research and academic links with a number of academic institutions including University College London (UCL), Royal Holloway (RH), University of London (UoL) and University of East London (UEL). These academic links means we are involved in a number of research projects all year round and are invited to research update seminars which we encourage staff to attend. This helps to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evidence base surrounding psychological treatments.
  • Our staff report feeling respected and value. They report feeling like they are part of an innovative team, passionate about driving forward with positive change for patients and the service.
